Jesus said, “I tell you, if two of you on earth agree (harmonize together, make a symphony together) about whatever [anything and everything] they may ask, it will come to pass and be done for them by My Father in heaven” (Matthew 18:19 Amp).
He also said, “wherever two or three are gathered (drawn together as My followers) in (into) My name, there I Am in the midst of them” (Matthew 18:20 Amp).
There is compounding effect in the spirit realm when more than one believer in Jesus come together on a matter. In the Garden of Eden, God saw that Adam’s commission was too much for one, so He put two together. The issues, challenges, callings, activities, etc. that you face in the Kingdom is too much for just you. If you can handle everything on your own, you don’t have a large enough vision.
Today, whatever you are going through, find someone to pray with and for you, agree together in prayer. Call someone today and pray for him/her. Agree with someone in prayer about some matter in his/her life.
If you want fresh encounters with the Glory and Presence of God, find someone to “agree with you in prayer.” Get a prayer partner, and join together in the Name of Jesus, and declare God’s Word and Power, together, and watch the power that God releases when there are two (or more) coming together in His Name.
Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.
When God inspired the Word to be written, He prioritized. He inspired the writers and the organizers to place Genesis 1 in the beginning. While that may sound funny, it’s vital to understand what God considers important for us to “catch first.” Before we learn that God is a loving God, before we learn that God is a holy and righteous God, and before we learn that God had a redemptive plan already set in motion, we learn that God is a SPEAKING God. We also learn that the Holy Spirit hovers and creates in response to the Word of God.
Ephesians 5:1 says, “Be imitators of God [copy Him and follow His example] as well-beloved children imitate their father.” We can begin this new year imitating our heavenly Father. We can co-labor with Him and release His power and Presence (the Holy Spirit) into our year by speaking His Word.
Let’s start with these: “In the Name of Jesus, I dedicate 2013 to growing in revelation knowledge. My days will be filled with the Presence of God. I plead the Blood of Jesus and declare that His Blood will mark my days. The Glory of the Lord will surround me like a shield, and I will be set apart for God.”
Co-labor with God to speak His Word and release His Presence. His Word and His Spirit will always go hand-in-hand.
Worship is defined as to honor, love, to adore or venerate. The modern word comes from the Old English words weorth (worth) and scipe (shape or quality). So put together worship means “the quality of worth”. So when you worship, what quality of worth do you place on God? Your worship will reflect how much value you place on the Heavenly Father. If being in His presence is of high value or worth to you, then you will be seeking out His presence every day through song, dance, instruments, reading the Word, or prayer. True worship is immersing yourself in God. As Christians, we were given the job description of giving God glory. You see this in I Peter 2:9, “You are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of the darkness into His wonderful light.” How much time have you spent basking in His wonderful light today? The more time we spend worshiping and praising God, the more He is able to immerse us in His wonderful light, in His awesome presence, in His manifest glory. So, I encourage you today to evaluate your worship and see if God is the priority of your life, the priority that is worth more than anything else. If you make the Lord your number one priority and immerse yourself in His Presence, it will allow Him to work miracles and move mountains in your life.

“Releasing God’s Power through the Laying on of Hands”
Hebrews 6:2 – Laying on of Hands is a PRIMARY doctrine in the Body of Christ
Healing and Restoration:
Mark 6:5 – He could not do any miracles there, except lay his hands on a few sick people and heal them.
Mark 8:23-25 – He took the blind man by the hand and led him outside the village. When he had spit on the man’s eyes and put his hands on him, Jesus asked, “Do you see anything?” He looked up and said, “I see people; they look like trees walking around.” Once more Jesus put his hands on the man’s eyes. Then his eyes were opened, his sight was restored, and he saw everything clearly.
Mark 16:18 – … they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.”
Acts 9:12 – In a vision he has seen a man named Ananias come and place his hands on him to restore his sight
Deliverance and Warfare
Luke 13:11-16 – … a woman was there who had been crippled by a spirit for eighteen years. She was bent over and could not straighten up at all. When Jesus saw her, he called her forward and said to her, “Woman, you are set free from your infirmity.” Then he put his hands on her, and immediately she straightened up and praised God. Then should not this woman, a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has kept bound for eighteen long years, be set free on the Sabbath day from what bound her?”
Impartation of the Holy Spirit
Acts 8:17-18 – Then Peter and John placed their hands on them, and they received the Holy Spirit. 18 When Simon saw that the Spirit was given at the laying on of the apostles’ hands, he offered them money
Acts 19:6 – When Paul placed his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they spoke in tongues and prophesied.
Impartation of Gifting and Prophetic Word
1 Timothy 4:14 – Do not neglect your gift, which was given you through a prophetic message when the body of elders laid their hands on you.
2 Timothy 1:6 – For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands.
Acts 6:6 – They presented these men to the apostles, who prayed and laid their hands on them.
Acts 13:3 – So after they had fasted and prayed, they placed their hands on them and sent them off.

Luke 24:50 – When he had led them out to the vicinity of Bethany, he lifted up his hands and blessed them.
Leviticus 9:22 – Then Aaron lifted his hands toward the people and blessed them. And having sacrificed the sin offering, the burnt offering and the fellowship offering, he stepped down.
Mark 10:16 – And he took the children in his arms, put his hands on them and blessed them.
Do not be hasty in the laying on of hands, and do not share in the sins of others. Keep yourself pure
The Scriptures repeatedly refer to the Throne of God. Hebrews has the most wonderful promise for believers – “Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in our time of need” (Hebrews 4:16).
Today, as a believer in Jesus, you have accessible to you, the most powerful place in all of existence – The Throne of God. God’s Throne is established forever (Psalm 103:19), and this place of stability is available to you; this place of strength and power is available to you. Don’t let another moment pass you by in which you don’t set your attention toward God’s Throne and appeal to His authority for strength and purpose. You were created for this place, to be near His Enthroned Presence, to see Him high and lifted up (Isa. 6:1).
You can find safety in the Throne of God. Lamentations 5:19 tells us that God’s Throne endures through the generations. Lamentations was written during one of the most tragic times in the life of the nation of Israel. The prophet Jeremiah understood that God’s Throne, God’s rule and reign was central, even when times were tough. We need that revelation today. In the midst of pain and heartache, we need to declare “Your Throne, O God, endures forever.”
God’s Throne is the place of His authority being released (Zech. 6:13 and Rev. 12:5). If you need God’s authority released into your life today, appeal to the Throne of God. Go into the heavenly court and make your petition known. He will release His plans and purposes for you from His seat of authority in heaven.

Hey church family. Did you know that you can have strength for any and all endeavors, right now??? Did you know that inside you right now is everything you will ever need to do whatever you need to do???
You are a “spirit-being” created in the image and likeness of God (Genesis 1:26 and John 4:24a). This “spirit-being” part of your nature is referred to by the apostle Paul as your “inner man” (Eph. 3:16). Since you are created in the image and likeness of God in this aspect of your nature, when you are born-again, this part of you comes alive. As a believer in Jesus Christ, this “spiritual part” of you is the place from which you are to live (Romans 8:1, 4).
Today, you can strengthen this part of your life. The life lived from the born-again, renewed, recreated spirit is a life that is filled with strength and it can become an inexhaustible source of energy and ability. When we learn how to strengthen our inner man, we can put an end to “mopey-dopey, mopey-dopey, mopey-dopey” days. We learn to hop right out of the bed and pour ourselves a cup of YAY-GOD.
The apostle Paul said, “I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner man” (Eph. 3:16). How do we strengthen our inner man?
- Pray in the Spirit – When you learn to release your prayer language, you will discover a whole new dimension of strength in your inner person. Your spirit will be strengthened almost immediately (1 Cor. 14:4 and Jude 20).
- Speak right words – your heart (your inner man) is like a scroll (Proverbs 7:3b) and your tongue is like “the pen of a ready writer” (Psalm 45:1). What does that mean? Your inner being, your spirit is waiting to be written upon. Your inner being will respond to what you write upon it with the words of your mouth. To build up your inner strength, WRITE YOUR OWN STORY ON YOUR HEART BY SPEAKING EMPOWERING, WORD-BASED, JESUS FOCUSED WORDS!!! You’ll get stronger and stronger as you speak strength into you own heart.
Start right now, say this out loud and repeatedly throughout the next 7 days, “In the Name of Jesus, I am strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. I am strengthened by His glorious power at work in me” (Eph. 6:10 and Col. 1:11). Say it often and repeatedly!!! As you do, you will write strength on your inner man.
3. Fellowship with encouraging believers – if you hang around mopey-dopies… you’ll become mopey-dopey!!! Find some ON-FIRE, encouraging believers and go hang out with them. The strength of one’s spirit is impart-able to another. You can receive strength just by hanging around strong believers.
Today, I want to encourage you to strengthen your inner man. As you live from that place of spiritual strength, you’ll discover that you are “ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into you!!!” (Phil. 4:13 Amp).
