God’s Word is pregnant with world-overcoming power. We can have increase in every area of our lives by the power of the Word of God. His Word has amazing, life-changing power
In the beginning, the earth was formless and void (See Genesis 1:1,2). God created and brought things into order by His Word (again, see Genesis 1 and John 1). He said, “Let there be light… and then there was light” (Genesis 1:3). God said, “Let there be…” and everything He said became a reality. We learn from the very first chapter of the Bible that “God’s Word has CREATIVE power.”
Acts 19:20 and Acts 12:24 both tell us that the “Word of God has ‘PREVAILING, GROWING, MULTIPLYING’ power.” God’s Word is pregnant with world-overcoming power. We can have increase in every area of our lives by the power of the Word of God. His Word has amazing, life-changing power.
The Word has repairing, restoring, mending, fitting, and arranging power in it, and we have the Word available to us, every single day of our lives
We read in Hebrews 11:3 that God “framed the worlds with His Word.” And we learn that everything is “held together by His (Mighty) Word of His Power” (Hebrews 1:3). I particularly like the passage in Hebrews 11:3 that says that God “framed the worlds with His Word.” The Greek word for “framed” is “katartizo,” which means “to fit, to complete, arrange, set up, repair, mend, and to restore/reconnect.” God used His Word to do all of these things in creation. The Word has repairing, restoring, mending, fitting, and arranging power in it, and we have the Word available to us, every single day of our lives.
When God speaks, He “with a word, makes something out of nothing” (Romans 4:17b MSG). He calls forth things; He speaks, and things happen. Ephesians 5:1 tells us to be imitators of God as dear children. We can use God’s Word, and we can act like our Father by talking like our Father and calling things that be not as though they were.
We have God’s very creative thoughts and power available to us as believers in Jesus Christ through the Word of God. He gave us authority, and that authority is accessible when we begin to CONFESS what God has already said. Confess is the Greek word “homologeo,” which means “to say the same thing.” We can “say the very same things God is saying.” In order to talk like God, we must get in the Word, find out what God is saying, and then say those things.
It is time for us to utilize God’s Word to change our lives, the lives of others, and the lives of our community, city, and world. By speaking God’s Word, we can use God’s Word (katartizo) to shine the light of God’s love, healing power, and authority into the lives of others.
Here are a couple of examples of how to utilize God’s Word to release His Will on earth as it is in heaven:
The LGBT Community desperately needs revival. We can begin to say what God has already said about this. We can stand in our living rooms, in our churches, wherever and boldly prophesy what God has already said. We can say:
“In the Name of Jesus, the LGBT community in my city is, right now, experiencing conviction, repentance, revival, and the Spirit of God is being poured out upon all people. LGBT sons and daughters are prophesying, speaking in tongues, being healed, and hearing and receiving the Word of God. The hearts of our people are good ground upon which the seed of the Word of God is falling. In the Name of Jesus, I declare Satan’s authority is bound; he has no authority over our people. I declare to the North, South, East, and West, GIVE UP OUR PEOPLE and LGBT sons and daughters, come home, in the Name of Jesus.” Acts 2:17 / Joel 2:28 / John 16:8 / Proverbs 1:23 / Matthew 18:18 / Mark 4:15-25 / Isaiah 60:1-9
People need healing and wholeness. We can begin to say what God has already said about this:
“In the Name of Jesus, I declare _________ is whole and healed. Jesus was beaten with whips in order to purchase _______’s healing. I declare that Jesus took infirmities upon Himself, so in the Name of Jesus, I rebuke sickness and disease, right now. I also declare that God has not given them a spirit of fear, but of power, of love, and of a sound mind.” Isaiah 53:5 / Matthew 8:17 / 2 Timothy 1:7
Individually, we need to have a healthy self image of ourselves, and see ourselves the way God sees us. We can begin to say what God has already said about us:
“I am a child of God. I am righteous because of the Blood of Jesus. All my needs are met according to God’s riches in Glory by Christ Jesus. I have authority over the devil because I am seated with Jesus Christ in heavenly places. I have a holy boldness that rises in me to do what I need to do for the Kingdom. I am more than a conquorer. I am victorious today. I have the mind of Christ. And I boldly declare that all plots, plans, and devices of the enemy are thwarted even now. No weapons formed against me shall prosper. I walk in the spirit today, and I do not fulfill the lusts of the flesh. I am anointed, and every person I come in contact with today will have burdens removed and yokes destroyed from of their lives because I am anointed and the Spirit of God flows free through me to touch the lives of others, In the Name of Jesus.” 1 John 3:2 / 2 Cor. 5;21 / Phil. 4:19 / Romans 8:37 / 1 John 5:4 / Phil. 2:5 / Luke 10:19 / Isaiah 54:17 / Gal. 5:16 / Isa. 10:27 / Luke 4:18
Can you see how speaking the Word of God is done?
When we begin to talk like our Father with hearts of faith, we get our Father’s results. This is how we learn to rule and reign with Him, so let’s take His Word, and begin to speak His Word over every situation.
